"A Beautiful Battle"

As the deer pants for streams of water so my soul pants of you, my God Psalm 42:1

O Lord how you have battled for my wayward soul. I wanted to paint fighting deer for awhile and felt like this was something I was supposed to paint I just wasn't really sure why. Felt it even more when I found an antler in the middle of one of my hiking trails after pondering painting the image. I naively thought this painting was going to be about two men battling or myself against another person. I didn't realize it was my relationship with you until a couple of months ago when I invited you to take center stage in my heart again and I started asking you more and more into my art like I used to and into my painting time. I just want to thank you Jesus that no matter how many times I've tried to move around you and away from you it doesn't work and you never stop battling for my heart, my mind, and my soul. Thank you for how much you love me and everyone in this world. I pray Ephesians 3:14-21 for us all. WE NEED YOU SO BADLY.
